The Demon of the Hidden Mist takes his vengeance on Gato and all of those dumb enough to follow him. He apologizes to Haku for what he did to the kind little boy. After the group takes care of the rest of Gato’s men, Zabuza asks Kakashi one final request, to see Haku one final time which is Zabuza’s requiem.

Zabuza is confronted by his boss Gato who is planning to kill Zabuza because he was too expensive. Zabuza now annoyed decides to cancel the fight with Kakashi and fight Gato’s men. Meanwhile Gato approaches the dead body of Haku and snaps the neck even though he’s dead, this caused Naruto to go berserk but Kakashi holds him back.

Naruto ask Zabuza “say something too, weren’t you friends!? but Zabuza said “shut up, kid. Haku is already dead”. “As Gato used me, I used Haku. That’s all it was”. Naruto then starts saying a speech about Haku and how much he loved Zabuza and then we have a flashback to the fights between Naruto, Sasuke and Haku.

While Naruto and Sasuke train, Sakura watches over Tazuna. During a nice dinner, Sakura notices a man’s face torn from a picture. The man’s name was Kaiza, and he was what the country called…a “hero”. What happened to cause Inari so much pain?

Sakura watches over Tazuna and Tazuna asks her where Sasuke and Naruto is. She says that they are training and Tazuna replies by asking her if the training is too hard for her. She gets mad and tells her that she’s guarding her because she did best during the training. Tazuna works, yet another of his employees asks to stop working on the bridge for fear of Gato.

As the Zabuza’a death, things were settled to normal and Tazuna can continue to build the bridge without any fear. Everyone thought that Zabuza was dead but Kakashi thought the other way, so the taught Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke a way to train so they could better use their chakra.

A peaceful scene of a waterside home, and inside this home we find Kakashi coming to and a woman asks how he is doing. The three Genin enter with Tazuna, happy to find Kakashi awake, they all wonder about the happenings of the past few days. As Kakashi thinks, he explains the job of the ANBU. It then pans to the masked boy and the body of Zabuza, as the boy goes to remove the bandages from Zabuza’s face, he reaches up and holds the boys arm. Doing it himself, Zabuza’s mouth is filled with sharp shark like teeth, and pulls out the two long needles from his neck.

On their way to Tazuna’s home, they run across a ninja named Zabuza Momochi. Using the Sharingan, or Mirror-Wheel Eye, Kakashi started to fight him. Is the Sharingan enough to defeat Zabuza? Or is Team Kakashi’s first mission over already?
